Encourage Counseling Services is looking to welcome 2-3 therapists to our team!
We are located on Highway 12 in the city of Howard Lake in Wright County, Minnesota, approximately 45 minutes west of the Twin Cities. We have been serving the local community and surrounding areas for 4 years. We are passionate about meeting the diverse mental health needs of the community and providing services to all ages from infants to adults, families, and couples. We are experienced in the treatment of trauma and use modalities including EMDR, ART, IFS, and directive and non-directive play therapy to support our clients’ growth and healing. Professional development and consultation are an important part of our practice. We value providing high quality mental health care to underserved communities and take most insurances including Medicaid and Medicare.
As a member of our team, you can expect:
Commission-based compensation: earn $45,000 to $110,000+ per year dependent on pre-licensed or licensed, specialties and training, years of experience, and billable hours.
Benefits: 3% retirement match, up to 80 hours of sick and safe time per year (1 hour earned for every 30 hours worked), and unlimited unpaid time off while meeting or exceeding an average of 18 billable client contact hours per week for at least 48 weeks of the year.
Scheduling flexibility with no evenings or weekends required and hybrid schedule possible (in-person and telehealth appointments).
Administrative support which includes credentialing, billing, and scheduling of new clients.

In-house clinical supervision for pre-licensed clinicians working toward LMFT or LPCC licensure.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Provide mental health therapy to clients and keep client records up to date, in compliance with laws governing the ethical practice of psychotherapy, HIPAA, and insurance requirements.
Participate in weekly group consultation and/or supervision for purposes of quality of care.
Assist with client payments and billing communications as needed.
Qualifications:
Currently hold a LMFT, LPCC, LICSW, or LP license or have a Master’s degree in marriage and family therapy, professional clinical counseling, social work, psychology, or related program.
DC: 0-5 training or a desire to complete this training is a plus!
Registered Play Therapist™ (RPT) or interest in becoming a RPT is a plus as we have a Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor™ (RPT-S) on staff!
